Welcome to NIESA EMS's main page.
NIESA took over funding and running the ambulance service in January 1999. Before that, we were know as Williamston Fire Department. The EMS service gradually improved due to this new funding. NIESA eventually went from two volunteer responders (Basic Medical Care) to what you see today, a staffed ambulance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (Advanced Life Support). NIESA has also been able to supply a second ambulance crew on duty, 7am to 7 pm, at the Leroy Township Fire Station (Webberville).
